November 14, 2020 - Cotton Pickin' 100 brings Ross Camponovo to Magnolia

Friday night found Ross Camponovo in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the Cotton Pickin’ 100 weekend. In a field of 34 cars, Camponovo came in 11th fastest in his time trial group before placing sixth in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Ross secured his spot into the show with a third place finish. 1The following night, Ross edged his way into the $12,000-to-win finale with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 14th, Camponovo was an early retiree from the 70-lap affair on lap 34.

November 7, 2020 - 12th place finish in All American 60 at Jackson Motor Speedway

On Saturday afternoon Ross Camponovo invaded Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season finale. Drawing 18 cars for the Hercules Pumping Services All American 60, Ross faded two spots in his heat race to register a sixth place finish. Starting the $6,000-to-win A-Main in 18th, Camponovo clawed forward six spots in the 60-lap affair to come home 12th.

October 24, 2020 - Camponovo attends Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot

October 3, 2020 - Ross Camponovo attends Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway

Taking part in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader, Ross Camponovo traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Miss.) on Friday evening to kick off the 14th annual Gumbo Nationals. In a field of 38 cars, Ross came in seventh fastest in his time trial group before falling one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Scoring a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Hunter Rasdon, Camponovo locked into the 19th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $4,000 on the line, Ross was an early retiree from the 30-lapper on lap 25.

1The following night for the $8,000-to-win finale, Camponovo logged an eighth place outing in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main. Ross Camponovo made his 2020 season debut on Saturday afternoon at Chatham Speedway (Chatham, La.) piloting his Camponovo Farms No. 18 Late Model for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned contest. After qualifying sixth fastest in time trials, Camponovo faded back to a 13th place outing in the $3,000-to-win feature.

February 24, 2018 - Ross Camponovo Begins 2018 Season With a Victory at Columbus Speedway

“We waffled back and forth all week on whether or not to go because the weather looked so iffy, but man I’m glad we decided to go,” Camponovo said with a laugh. “It’s been a long time since we won, and it was my first one with my wife and my son there with me so that really meant a lot. We plan to race more this year than I’ve run the past few years combined, so it’s nice to get a win right off the bat.”

With wet weather scattered across the area, Ross Camponovo kicked off his 2018 season in the Crate Late Model ranks on Saturday afternoon at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) during the annual Winter Classic at the 1/3-mile oval.

The Mississippi racer started his outing by laying down the fastest time in qualifying, which locked him into the pole position for the feature. Camponovo backed up his qualifying performance by cruising to his first win of season in the feature. Justin McRee, Seth McCormack, John Polasini, and Jeff Young chased Camponovo across the finish line.

June 30th, 2017 - Mechanical Issues Cut Camponovo's Fourth of July Weekend Short
1On Friday night Ross Camponovo headed to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) kicking off the Fourth of July weekend with the COMP Camps Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). Drawing 31 entries for the $2,000-to-win A-Main, Ross broke a motor in qualifying bringing an early end to his night. Unable to get a replacement installed for the remaining CCSDS events on Saturday and Sunday, Camponovo's Holiday weekend was cut short.

June 17th, 2017 - Ross Camponovo Makes Clash at the Mag Feature at Magnolia
1With the weather reducing the two-day show to one day, Ross Camponovo was one of 40 Super Late Models signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Clash at the Mag. Coming up two positions short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 6th place finish, Camponovo transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the main event. Sending the Top 3, Ross scored a runner-up spot behind Chad Thrash locking him into the 19th-starting position for the feature. With $20,000 on the line, Camponovo got caught in a tangle on the front-stretch early in the race sending him to the tail.
